At the table: Shmil Leib Fried
Yashrus is a business and estate mediation firm. The person at the table is Shmil Leib Fried. He sits between partners, and between heirs, until both sides understand each other.
What mediation means here
Mediation is not a court, and it is not arbitration. Nobody rules over you. The two sides sit at one table and have to persuade each other. Shmil keeps the talk straight, and keeps it moving.
That is why the Yashrus mark is a plumb line. A straight line, and nothing else.
Why not arbitration
In arbitration, each side works on the judge and stops caring about the other side. In mediation, the work stays where it belongs: between the two of you. Shmil does not do arbitration.
Where the questions come from
Every question in Nidbarnu and Ratzoni is one Shmil has asked across a real table, in a real case. The tools exist so you can have that talk before there is anything to mediate.
Languages
Shmil works in Yiddish and English. The site speaks English, Yiddish, and Loshn Koydesh.
